I didn't buy much on Prime this month. The bulk of it was birthday gifts for my niece and party favors for the girls birthday party. So what did we buy?

Glow in the Dark Stress Balls

I bought these for the girls party favor bags. The kids had so much fun with them. And fun fact, they stick to the ceiling or wall and roll down for hours of fun!

Kerastase Moisture Mask

I got this because it was on mega sale and I was out of my purple hair mask. Plus my hairstylist said the purple mask is too much on my extensions and would be better off using a different mask and purple shampoo.

Folex Carpet Cleaner

This is a repurchase for me. This stuff is amazing. I spray it on clothes, the carpet, chair cushions, etc. and it always gets everything out. Sometimes I spray and leave it and other times I use my fingers or a soft rag to get the stains out.

4 Foot Floor Puzzle

I got this for my niece. She is really into puzzles and this one was large and had amazing reviews.
Small Brush Teeth Cleaners

I grabbed these for Avery since she got her orthodontia expander put in. She has been getting food stuck in her expander and these help clean it out. Plus it is perfect for using between teeth when floss won't work.

Affresh Washing Machine Tabs

This is my fourth repurchase of this item. I love these for cleaning out my washing machine. And with my new washer, I am using them on the first of every month or after I wash my dogs items.

Tom's Kids Toothpaste

This is another repurchase. The girls love this toothpaste and I love that it comes in a three pack for the price of one to two tubes.

Bob's Red Mill Pancake Mix

This is our favorite packaged pancake mix. I have bought this many times from Amazon. I think it said six times. I can't find it in the store anymore, so I order it online. It is the best!

Mermaid Night Light Kit

This was another gift for my niece. She loves mermaids and she was able to make her own night light. It was a huge hit with her!

60 Pack Mochi Valentines

I bought these for the girls classes for Valentine's Day. They love mochi toys and these ones have 60 of them with a heart shaped container and a card. Such a good deal!

All in One Food Chopper and Slicer

I recently bought this to make my life easier for chopping veggies and slicing potatoes. I make a lot of soups and sweet potato nachos and I wanted a new slicer and chopper. This one comes with 8 attachments and gets amazing reviews. Plus it is an extra $5 off right now.

12 Pack of Chokers

My girls are obsessed with these chokers. They got one at a birthday party and wear them all the time. So I grabbed a 12 pack for their birthday party. And now all the girls wear them.

The Pink Stuff

Nadine recommended this a few months ago and I finally purchased it. I tried it on some smudges that just wouldn't come off and it wiped them right away. I really want to try it on my faucets to see if it removes the hard water.

And that's it for my Prime Purchases in January. What did you buy?

Friday Favorites and Happenings

*This post contains affiliate links. When you click a link, it is no cost to you and I make a small commission (pennies) from it. Thank you for supporting Sparkles and Lattes.

Happy Friday! So Phil says we have another six weeks of Winter, but Staten Island Chuck said Spring, so I am going to hope that Chuck is right this year. I am so over the Winter. It is freezing out. We have had extreme lows, like much of the US and so much snow. It was 4 degree when I drove to work on Tuesday and we have more snow coming Sunday. Over.It.

Onto Friday Favorites and Happenings.

ONE. I had a gift card to Rothy's that has been sitting in my inbox since early December. I also had a $20 off coupon to use, so I combined them and bought some new pointers. I love the pointed flats. I have them in pink, black and now a taupe color. These are the best shoes to travel with and wear daily. After a work trip, I pop them in the washing machine (take the soles out and wash both) and they are as good as new and don't have all the street gunk from wherever I was.

I also have a pair of the classic flats that I love just as much. I just tend to wear the point ones more since I feel more put together with them on. I normally wear a 8 1/2, but I sized up to a 9 in the Point.

Here is the ones I got.

Rothy's The Point
The Point  Use code: FM4NHG9 for $20 off.

TWO. I went to Old Navy last week to find something to wear to a funeral (I didn't find anything) and I came across this sweater. It was super cute in person, and on sale, so I grabbed it. It is sold out online, but if you go into a store, you just might find it. It is on sale for $19.99 (originally $49.99) and then an extra 35% off, making it $12.99.

Heart Sweater

THREE. I feel like all I have done this week is shop. Ha. But everything I got was either on sale, or I had a gift card for. But I got another pair of the Spanx leggings. I got the navy blue ones last time and I got the caramel (tan) ones this time.

I wore the navy suede leggings this last weekend to the funeral I attended and they were so comfortable. They hike up your booty and suck in your mom pooch. They felt amazing on. I had bought a size medium tall and I think a small would have been fine too.

And since I loved wearing those so much, I promptly wore my faux leather leggings on Sunday with my Niners shirt and bought the tan color. They are still on sale, but I did get the navy ones for even less since they had an extra 30% off at the time. This time, I only got an extra 15% off.  Still so worth it.

They are perfect for work, date night or being casual. Now I am waiting for the flare perfect pant to go on sale.

FOUR. And now for a nose update. I saw my plastic surgeon on Wednesday and it was definitely a more helpful appointment. My doctor isn't concerned about the septal button. He said that my ENT could put it back in later or I could leave it out. It isn't affecting the structure of my nose, but he did say it was bigger than the last time he saw me.

As for my breathing problem, he says it is my nostrils collapsing. He did some breathing tests by making me breathe in deep, then putting the nose tool in and doing the same thing, then pulling the tip of my nose up and breathing in deep and so on. Every single time, my nostrils collapsed. Basically that means, that my nostrils pinch in towards my septum (the middle part of your nose). My right side is all the way and my left side is almost all the way.

He said to fix that I would need alar grafts. He would do this by taking cartilage from my ear (the left one this time) and putting it around my nostrils (inside) and on the tip of my nose. The tip of the nose one is a layered piece that will sit horizontally and keep the structure of my nose and nostrils in place.

So basically this is what I should expect:

FIVE. Weekly funnies.

Have a great weekend. I am linking up with A Little Bit of Everything.

Warsaw, Poland Days 10 - 12

We left off on day 10 which was a Wednesday. We had meetings all day. But we did squeeze in a lunch of pierogis. I wanted to try authentic pierogis since I have only had them in the States. They did no disappoint.

Pierogis

After work, we went back down to the Old Town Market area to grab some souvenirs as two of my co-workers were leaving the next day. Then we went to dinner at Bar a Boo which is a pizza place that was next to Stixx.

The building looked like a heart from the outside.

We ate and hung out and then headed back to the hotel.

Thursday was another day of work and full of meetings. After the meetings, we headed walked around to see the Ghetto Wall. It took us a bit to find this one area. Since they were doing some construction in the area, we had to go through some archways between buildings.

This map shows the old Ghetto Wall and what is left of it.

After the wall, we went to the Warsaw Uprising Museum. I knew a lot about WWII, but I learned so much more about it and Poland's roll.

I didn't take many photos in there as it was quite crowded and we were just taking it in. After the museum, we walked to A Blikle which is a Polish donut place that we were told we must try. They are basically a jelly filled donut, but soooo much better than I anticipated. We got two of them. One was plum filled and the other was rose water jelly. They both had candied orange peels on top.

After our donuts, we hit the gym and then got ready to head back to Stixx for our final dinner in Poland. This time I got the deconstructed Pad Thai which was amazing! Us girls also shared a bottle of wine and way too much bread. It was the perfect final (4 hour) dinner of the trip.

Friday morning we had a early start as we flew to Frankfurt first. These were some of the morning views from the plane.

We had a 2 hour layover which went quickly as we had to get through customs, get our VAT taxes back and get onto our long flight. We flew into San Francisco for a three hour layover and then onto Reno.

This was my view on my way from SF to Reno.

I was greeted at the airport by Rory and the girls. Such a great way to end the trip and the over 24 hours of travel.

The next day I gave the girls and Rory their gifts and then I opened my purse which I promptly filled and have been using every day since.

Saint Laurent LouLou Bag

Now I want to say that I am in no way saying you should buy this purse. I just had a couple people ask me for the details and pricing, so I thought I would share. I did not pay that price as I was in Europe where the dollar was stronger and the purse was cheaper.

This torte was very traditional to Austria and something I brought home to share with the girls.

They package it so well, but the plastic was really difficult to get off the torte.

And that concludes my trip to Austria and Poland. Have you ever been? Any questions on my trip?
