CUCUMBER WATERMELON REFRESHER
serves 2
Ingredients
Seedless watermelon (about 5 one inch chunks)
Lime
Cucumber (about 5 slices with the peel cut off)
Watermelon Sparkling Water (I love the Bubly brand)
Ice
Vodka
Directions
1. Add in your watermelon, cucumber and fresh squeezed lime juice (I use a whole lime) to a cocktail shaker. Muddle it until the watermelon is all broken up.
2. Add in ice to your cocktail shaker. Add in 4 oz. vodka to your cocktail shaker (4 shots). Cover and shake.
3. Add ice to your glass and pour your cocktail mix over the ice. Make sure you either have a cover on your shaker so you only get the liquid or use a small strainer.
4. Fill the rest of your glass with the watermelon sparkling water.
5. Enjoy!
Oh man, this makes me wish I didn't eat all our watermelon over the weekend LOL! xo, Biana BlovedBoston

It is sooo good and quickly becoming my favorite cocktail.
DeleteThat just sounds refreshing - anything with watermelon sounds like the perfect warm day drink
ReplyDeleteI totally agree and it is one of my favorite flavors.
DeleteThis sounds so perfect for summer! Like Rebecca Jo said, "refreshing"!!! I am so not good at making drinks. I should try some of yours.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely try them. I was never good at making them and now I am trying all sorts of drinks since being home all the time. Some I like and others I pour right down the drain. Ha.
DeleteThis sounds amazing! I am going to have to whip this up the first time we can invite friends over when this is all over.
ReplyDeleteYes you should. It is soooo good.
DeleteThat does sound refreshing.
ReplyDeleteAnd the best part is it can be made with or without alcohol.
DeleteYum. Perfect for summer! We just tried a new drink recipe over the weekend. 4oz of Peach whiskey + .4oz of OJ + 4.0 oz champagne. It was pretty tasty. Those who didn't like whiskey enjoyed a mimosa instead. I'm not usually a whiskey person myself, but it was just a little splash of whiskey so it was pretty tasty.
ReplyDeleteKaitlyn @ Oh, the Places We’ll Go!
That sounds amazing. I would totally drink that. I am not a huge whiskey fan, but mixed in cocktails is really good.
Delete* 0.4 oz of peach whiskey lol
ReplyDeleteI don't usually love watermelon drinks, but this one sounds SO good! I love a good taste (literally) of summer!
ReplyDeleteMe too! Anything that reminds me of Summer is the best!
DeleteSounds super delicious and it looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is really good!
