So a few weeks ago, the girls visited Santa. They came into the store, played and were very happy. We talked Santa up all week in hopes of a good picture. As you remember, last year's photo was the cutest and we hoped to get another one like it.
Nope. The girls were not having it. They were soooo scared of Santa and he was the nicest. Sutton tried to run from him and Avery screamed her head off. There were lots of tears and laughs (by Rory and I).
After taking a few shots with Santa, they had us sit with the girls just in case she couldn't get a good photo.
Side note: it turns out the photographer worked in the NICU while the girls were there and she remembers them. She said she could never forget the twins, Sutton and Avery.
And now, the girls' 2016 photo with Santa...
Haha, seriously the best. This is a framer for sure. Maybe next year they will like Santa more.
YESSSS this is the best!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, right?! Love it.
DeleteHilarious!!! I know some people get upset when their Santa photo is full of tears, but I think it's awesome. It's adorable and such a funny memory. This is classic.
ReplyDeletebahahaha! Thanks for sharing this with us :)
ReplyDeleteOh sweet girls! This will always be a favorite memory!
ReplyDeleteThis. Is. The. Best. I love everything about it. Totally just made my morning. I have a very similar picture from jack two years ago. Makes me laugh every time
ReplyDeleteOMG this is amazing! Hahahah this will be a photos the girls cherish forever!
ReplyDeleteI really do hope so. I will be framing it and bringing it out each Christmas for years to come.
DeleteBESTTTT PICTURE EVER!!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally love this picture so much.
You GOTTA have a sense of humor about such things with little ones x two.
You know that Santa has to be exhausted by the end of a photo day :)
HAHAHA OMG I love this so much!!! These are my favorite pics of all time!! I'm sad that this year is probably my last year with a crying kid :(
ReplyDeleteThat picture cracks me up! It's so sad but so funny at the same time! :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a framer!!! This is great and will be so much fun to look back on years late. You tried momma! Sometimes these are better than the perfect sit and smile ones. Beautifully Candid
ReplyDeleteHaha awe, poor babies! It's so interesting that babies get so scared of santa. I wonder what that's about. Does the photographer work as a nurse too or was she doing newborn hospital pictures?
ReplyDeleteHahahaha I couldn't love this anymore! So good. Double the fun ;) Don't worry, that was Ben's reaction last year...and this year. I think they are at an age where sitting on a strangers lap is just confusing. Ben loves Santa, he just doesn't love being left on his lap. This is such a cool set up too. And love the girls' outfits.
ReplyDeleteI think sometimes the funny Santa pictures like this are better than the happy ones! Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteDanielle, I'm DYYYYING! I literally LOLed when I saw this picture on Instagram! They are going to love looking back on this one day! So classic!
ReplyDeleteThis is the best! I'm at working dying of laughter and my colleagues are looking at me like I'm crazy but it's worth it. Your twins are adorable. They remind me of my baby girl at that age. Happy Holidays to you all!
ReplyDeleteAwe thank you so much!
DeleteI seriously can't stop laughing! It really is the best!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I LOVE this photo!
DeleteOh my word! This is the best. I would definitely be framing this! So cute.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! Lol! This would be going in a huge frame in my house!!
ReplyDeleteOh it is going in a frame for sure and coming out for many Christmases to come!
DeleteSo funny! #babybigtruck wouldn't even go near Santa.
ReplyDeleteThe photo is the best lol. Maybe next year? :)
