Blogger Christmas Cheer Exchange

A few weeks ago I signed up to be a part of a Christmas Exchange. It is a secret Santa gift exchange and an awesome way of getting to know more bloggers. I had fun getting to know the blogger that I played secret Santa for, Mattie from Northwest Native.

Last week, I received my secret Santa gift and Laura outdid herself. From the wrapping of the package and gifts, to the sweet card, she made my day. So Laura, thank you so much. I wish I would have wrapped Mattie's gifts, but I hadn't bought wrapping paper yet (I thought I had some at home already). Total blogger fail.

So without further ado, here is my secret Santa gift.

I could already smell what was in the ball package and I was very excited for to open it.

A Lush Bath Bomb was on my Christmas/Wish List. I love Lush products. From their bath bombs to their shower smoothies, this place has the most delicious smelling and feeling products. I can't wait to take a bath with my bath bomb, a glass of wine and quietness (no child around).

Santa Baby Lip Tint from Lush. I saw this when I was in their store last week and wanted to try it, but not in the tester form. The red is bright and beautiful and lasting (see below)

Funny story: I opened this and put it in my purse. On the way to work, I was blindly grabbing chapstick from my purse while waiting at a stop light. I grabbed this thinking it was normal chapstick since it is in the same container and hastily put it on. Later on while in the Starbucks drive-thru I checked my face and saw what I had done. I had it on my lips, but I had gone overboard and it was on the sides of my mouth. I kind of looked like clown.

When I got to daycare to drop my kids off, I quickly got them out of their carseats and bolted to the restroom with wipes in hand. I scrubbed the sides of my mouth and got most of it off. Luckily, I had concealer in my bag and could fix my mistake. And the rest of the day, I had gorgeous lips. Lesson learned: check to see if it is chapstick or lip tint.

These earrings were up next. I love the classic look of these and I can't wait to wear them out on date nights and to my work Christmas party tonight.
